Warranty coverage
Voltgrade is committed to the quality and integrity of the products we offer. Warranty claims are handled in line with the manufacturer warranty terms and our Warranty and Safety Policy.
The manufacturer warranty typically covers defects in materials or workmanship during the applicable warranty period. Coverage and duration vary by product. Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed within the warranty period, we will work with the manufacturer to resolve the issue through repair or replacement where applicable.
Warranty limitations
Warranty does not cover:
• Damage caused by accidents, impact, crash damage, or misuse
• Normal wear and tear
• Incorrect installation, wiring errors, or incorrect configuration
• Unauthorised repairs, modifications, or tampering
• Damage caused by water ingress, chemicals, extreme humidity, corrosive environments, or hazardous environments
• Damage caused by incorrect chargers, incorrect charging, short circuits, or poor battery handling
• Issues caused by software or firmware updates that affect compatibility or operation
• Issues caused by later upgrades or changes to the bike or system, such as motor, display, harness, controller, battery, or other electrical changes
• Consumables and items designed to wear over time, unless the manufacturer states otherwise
• Force majeure events
Evaluation of warranty claims
Electric performance parts can be complex. We support our customers properly and send you clear instructions also you get dedicated customer support during our working hours, so any evaluations must be fair and evidence based.
Responsibility of proper use
Once a product is installed and used, we cannot verify how it has been handled, maintained, stored, or exposed to external factors. If a product worked correctly on installation and initial use, this strongly suggests there was no manufacturing defect at the time of sale.
Evidence of fault
To process a claim, we may require photos, video, diagnostic details, and setup information. Without verifiable evidence, we cannot confirm that a failure is due to manufacturing rather than installation, configuration, or external factors.
Impact of external changes
We cannot take responsibility for issues caused by later changes to the bike’s hardware or software. If a product initially worked without issue, claims related to later incompatibility or malfunction caused by updates or modifications are not covered.
Testing and shipping
Returned items may be tested. If no manufacturing defect is found and the product is functional, the claim may be denied and the item will be returned to the customer. In that case, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.
